    Local Mental Health Charity Broadening its Reach

    Southampton based charity SAFE (safe.org.uk) has announced a new management line up that has been put in place from 1st December 2017.

    Nina Kelly becomes Chief Executive Officer having joined SAFE two years ago as Chief Development Officer. She has significantly expanded the scope and reach of the charity’s psychological based ‘Choices’ training courses from a reach of 60 people in 2014 to over 250 so far this year, with ambitious plans to grow this further during 2018.     We are looking for a Youth Choices Facilitator/Trainer!

    We have a really exciting new opportunity! We now have a vacancy for a Youth Choices Facilitator/Trainer.

    The aim of the Youth Choices Facilitator job is to deliver Youth Choices to young people with ongoing support, and to develop the use of Youth Choices among youth professionals. 

    This will be 2 days a week initially, with potential to increase.

    Ex-course candidate and Facilitator Lisa Bonter treks 25k for SAFE

    London Bridges 25k Trek

    My name is Lisa Bonter and the Choices course was a vital factor in my journey of discovering self-worth and changing my life.

    I am undertaking the 25km Trek across the London Bridges to raise money for SAFE so that other people can attend this course and improve their wellbeing, overcome anxiety, depression and barriers to gaining employment and/or leading a fulfilling life.


    I volunteer as a facilitator on the Choices courses running in my home town of Eastleigh and am so happy to see the way people turn their lives around after coming on our courses.
